Where's My Six Pack?

If you're like most people, you've spent hours and hours doing situps, crunches, leg raises, and every other ab workout you could find. You've spent hundreds of dollars on gym memberships and gimmicky ab equipment. The problem is, you still don't have a six pack.

The reason for this is very simple, but it's not one that you will hear repeated very often. In order to reveal your six pack, you need to have very low body fat. For men, you will need around 5%, and for women around 10%. You can have the strongest, most toned abs around, but if they're hiding behind a layer of fat, you will never see them.

All the ab workouts in the world won't help you show that six pack you've been chasing after for so long. To get to that point, you will need a solid weight training program and proper nutrition in order to lose all that body fat. It's not easy, it's a lot of work, but in the end, it's the only thing that works.
